Chill & Escape in Kampot
Our bungalows are unique. Inspired by the minority indigenous hilltribes in the North East of Cambodia, a very special man – Mr Yok Do – a Tampuan hilltribesman, embraced our offer to bring his style of dwelling to the Southern Coast of the Kingdom of Wonder.
All bungalows are bamboo, wood and leaf-roofed in construction, and were designed and built to have a minimal negative impact on the surrounding ecology, and aesthetic environment.
Village Life is nestled on the banks of a small tributary of the main Kampot River, and in the heart of a small village community. It’s a great place to kick back, slow the pace, and soak up authentic Khmer village life.
You’ll be welcomed by us, and the local community alike, and can enjoy living in accommodation that is over a thousand years old in basic design and concept. Don’t worry about not having aircon here, most guests say the passive cooling design of the bungalows mean that often they don’t even feel the need to flick the ceiling fans on!
